The veil is held in place by a tiara 'halo' of Cartier, given by Queen Catherine. The tiara of 'halo' was made by Cartier in 1936 and was bought by the Duke of York (later King George VI), Duchess (later Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother) three weeks before it happened to his brother as king. The tiara was presented to the Princess Elizabeth (now Queen) by his mother on his birthday 18.
Bride's earrings, made by Robinson Pelham, diamonds are a set of stylized as oak leaves, with a pear-shaped diamond and a set of acorn-shaped diamonds suspended in the center. The inspiration for the design came from the new coat of arms of the Middleton family, including acorns and oak leaves.
The earrings were made to imitate the tiara and a personal gift to the bride from her parents for her wedding day, according to the actual wedding site.
Robinson Pelham also designed and manufactured a pair of diamond earrings for the bride's sister, Philippa. These earrings are flowers to complement the headdress worn by pipe during operation.
Tourmaline pendant of diamonds and a matching pair of earrings were designed and manufactured to Carole Middleton, the mother of Catherine. Two gold pins, one with a gold acorn on the head and another with a piece of oak were used, respectively, by the father of the bride, Mr. Michael Middleton, and the brother of the bride, Mr. James Middleton.
